The Berenstain Bears God Shows the Way

My 5 year old loves this book! I love how every story has a bible verse before it that I will get us to repeat before and after reading the story. It refers to bible verses throughout the story. The first story Faith Gets us Through is about trusting that God is always with us. The scouts travel through a cave learning about caves and fear. The second story, Have No Fear, God is Near, is about fear of shadows and trusting God to not be afraid. The third story, Piggy Bank Blessings, talk about saving your money and blessing those you love. I loved the 2 lessons on fear since my little one uses the phrase, “I’m scared” way too many times. So I look forward to reading him those more times. Also teaching kids to save money is always a plus. I love the hard back book. It is still soft enough to bend the edges if you drop it. It isn’t too big to read the kids, and it is good to have them together – saves space and easy enough to read all 3 in 1 session and not feel like you are over reading!
