Seagrass Pier by Colleen Coble

This is a murder mystery, which isn’t my normal genre of book, but I really enjoyed it. It is a great book for those who love mysteries. It leaves you on the edge of your seat while you try to figure it all out. The underlying story of someone moving past hurts and seeing what God has in store for them - is a good part of the story. I also enjoy Elin’s mom’s part of the story of having Dementia, yet she never loses her love of God. And who doesn’t love a good love story! At the end of the book is a Reading Group Guide of 9 questions. They are the thought provoking areas of the story that you read. The main theme of this story is IDENTITDY. What is your identity? In Christ? In this world that we live? Each character has to find their identity. At the end of the book is a sweet letter from the author and a few inserts of other books.
Thank you to the booklookblogger program and Thomas Nelson for another great book in exchange for my honest opinion.
