We all have our own journey...

This picture really touched me earlier this year. I held onto it b/c I really feel it spoke deeply to me. Journey has been a word for me, as well has Transformation for my 2017 focus word. I really felt God telling me that he had alot planned for me this year, and I need to trust the journey.
People forget to look around and to really be aware that everyone has our own daily walk/journey. So many get caught up in their journey, that they focus on themselves and their battles. Well we are all walking around with battle wounds from others and life. We walk our journey ... Our main goal should be with a heavenly focus. Our journey towards heaven as we look right and left and see if we can help lift or help others. We are here to serve for the Kingdom of Heaven. We get battle wounds ourselves and at times it is hard to see past our own battle. We have to make the intentional look around us. It could be as simple as helping a friend or a simple card to encourage..

I love how this pic reminds us of those that we encounter in life.. some touch our lives and some teach us lessons. No matter where you are on your journey.. know that where you are is where God wants you.

God has adjusted my path lately.. I have had to face change, which is not easy for me. I had to trust and move. Lessons learned by people that I have been with will shape who I am and how I journey on... Others in my journey will stay with me as true friendships.

Let's Journey on...

Gathering the Threads

The given Overview is: "Finally back in the Old Order Amish world she loves,
Will Ariana's new perspectives draw her family closer together--
or completely rip them apart?
After months away in the Englisch world, Ariana Brenneman is overjoyed to be in the Old Order Amish home where she was raised. Yet her excitement is mixed with an unexpected apprehension as she reconciles all she's learned from her biological parents with the uncompromising teachings of her Plain community. Although her childhood friend, ex-Amish Quill Schlabach, hopes to help her navigate her new role amongst her people, Ariana's Daed doesn't understand why his sweet daughter is suddenly questioning his authority. What will happen if she sows seeds of unrest and rebellion in the entire family?

Meanwhile, Skylar Nash has finally found her place among the large Brenneman family, but Ariana's arrival threatens to unravel Skylar's new identity--and her sobriety. Both Ariana and Skylar must discover the true cords that bind a family and community together and grasp tight the One who holds their authentic identities close to His heart. "

I would recommend this book for those looking for a book series! This is one that had me watching for the 3rd book to come out to read. Cindy Woodsmall does a great job in this series! I loved the ending of this story, and I loved watching Ariana's journey of faith. These books leave you entertained and inspired at the same time. I think the beginning book catches your attention with the swapped at birth story with an Amish and a English family. This final book had many twists and turns which keep you entertained and waiting to see what the final results will be. You will feel led to build your faith as you read this book. I love the review to refresh your memory of the story at the beginning and the glossary at the back to help you with the Amish language inserted in the book. I have received this book for free from Blogging for Books in exchange for my honest review.
