Whatever You Grow Up to Be by Karen Kingsbury (Children's book)

A keepsake book.
This is a sweet book for a mom to read with her son. However, it is for most moms one of those books that is a tear jerker for a Mom to actually read the words to her children with crying. Each few pages takes a mom on past and future life stages of her child’s life from birth, graduating, getting married, to giving her grandchildren. It is a hard back book with a matching paper slip, which won’t last long at my house. My 5 year old son loved looking at the pictures of all the things he could be when he grew up. I forsee me having this as a coffee table book to have out to look at the pictures with him. I’m not sure how many times this emotional momma will be able to read the words! I was hoping it would be more playful so I could enjoy reading it to him more.
It would be a good gift giving book for a pregnant mom to have to share with her son. These kind of books are always nice to have to show and remind your child that you will love them no matter what, forever and ever, and that they can be whatever they want to be – or what God wants them to be.
