A Star for Jesus board book
By Crystal Bowman This is a cute thin board book with the edge of the book cut out around most of the star. It will introduce your children to the star of Jesus, and how that star shines brighter than the others, how it led the wisemen to Jesus, and how they can remember Jesus when they see a star. The words are simple and cute. The pictures are well illustrated. The only questionable page is the wisemen bringing gifts to Jesus, but he isn’t a baby Jesus. It is a toddler boy outside playing. This one picture through the book off for me, because we are taught that the Wise Men brought gifts to the baby child. I think because of the picture, I wouldn’t race out to buy it for a gift for other children. I wouldn’t want to confuse them. My children enjoyed the book and wanted me to read it again.
